Conference description

Initiated and organised by Cerema, BUILDERS Ecole d'Ingénieurs SHF, PIANC and Syntec Ingénierie, this event aims to become a showcase for French and European maritime expertise. A genuine forum for discussion and sharing between experts, scientists and public and private project managers, the ‘Maritime Engineering Meetings’ will examine topics directly related to the challenges facing regions and economic players.

    • Planning and steering coastal resilience to hazards (erosion, flooding, crises).
    • Nature-based solutions, digital twins, governance and effectiveness indicators.
  • Maritime resources sovereignty & energy transitions
    • Making the maritime sector a low-carbon pillar: MRE, electrification, suƯiciency and co-uses.
    • Reconciling energy security, biodiversity and activities through integrated planning.
  • Techno-digital innovation serving the living world
    • Smart ports and territories: IoT, ROV/USV, eDNA, AI & big data for better decisions.
    • From measurement to action: QA/QC, predictive models, secure operational services.
  • Integrated design & engineering of structures and systems
    • From systemic design to life-cycle: performance, frugality, “living” structures.
    • Integrating climate uncertainties, uses and co-design with ecosystems.

Calls for abstracts

Abstracts must be written in English or French and limited to 250 words, without including illustrations. They must be related to one of the conference themes.
